Park Hill South barely beat Mid-Buchanan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 10-2 victory on Tuesday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Park Hill South is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Mid-Buchanan, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Park Hill South and Mid-Buchanan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Panthers will square off against Grandview at 10:00 a.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (36 vs. 351). Meanwhile, Mid-Buchanan (ranked 82nd) will meet Penney (ranked 417th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
