The Decatur Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Lithonia, posting a 48-0 victory at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Decatur's 12-point performance the matchup before.
Decatur got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jersharius Lawrence out in front who rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Tim Britt was another key contributor, rushing for 89 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lithonia, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Decatur will take on Chamblee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lithonia, they will be playing at home against Tucker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
