Marmion never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Iola-Scandinavia on Tuesday. They blew past the Thunderbirds 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Cadets, who have now won four matches by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Ronan O'Connor looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Kevin Schultz was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. He also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Matthew Tulley, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Marmion  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Marmion has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record  this season.
 Marmion will square off against Timothy Christian at 12:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Iola-Scandinavia,  it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds  duke it out with  Amherst Falcons at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
