A Season-Best Performance from Blake Bates Leads Pearce over Irving
On Friday, Pearce got the W thanks in part to Blake Bates playing the best football he has all season. Bates rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown.

On Friday, MacArthur had to settle for second even though Rolando King put up the best numbers he has all season. The matchup was his third straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
MacArthur is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. King and MacArthur will head out to challenge Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
