Leading Middleton to victory were Miley Steele and Zoey Blackwell. Steele scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three blocks, while Blackwell scored 14 points along with seven steals. That's the first time this season that Steele scored 15 or more points. Aysha Fried was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Middleton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Pocatello, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
