Northeastern added to the longest winning streak in Tri-Eastern this week by beating Tri, 64-36. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Winchester scaled the state rankings by moving to 177 from 215 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Golden Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of beating Heritage Christian 61-20.
Northeastern's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joey Claypoole threw for 153 and 3 touchdowns and Tyler Sandlin had 118 yards receiving. On the ground Kelsy Kirkland contributed 183 yards. Kirkland helped Northeastern's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 35 yards.

Kirkland provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Knights beat Tri. Kirkland's favorite target this week was Sandlin, who caught 5 passes for 118 yards.

Centerville's Tyler Weaver and Austin Mavity led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Weaver has thrown for 1,273 yards this season, while Mavity has 32 catches for 504 yards. Kirkland from Northeastern leads the league in rushing with 1,468 yards.
Union City lost to Eastern Hancock 78-27 last week, the largest margin of any game.
