Everything went Red Cloud's way against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte two weeks ago as the team secured a 52-0 victory. Red Cloud were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, St. Francis Indian found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-30 punch to the gut against McLaughlin last Friday.
Red Cloud's win lifted them to 2-1 while St. Francis Indian's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Red Cloud's success rolls on or if St. Francis Indian are able to steal their positive momentum.
