Ruidoso took down Portales 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bryce Pompos threw for 163 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 36 yards in the win.
The Warriors made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,794 from 7,136. The improvement came about via a 47-0 victory over the Rams last week.
Ruidoso's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Pompos has thrown for 1306 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Parker Johnson has 43 catches for 743 yards. Devon Carr leads the league in rushing with 710 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Portales takes on Lovington. As it stands, Jaime Ramirez's team is in third, while the Wildcats are in second.
