Faith Baptist Christian Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being John Robinson, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Massey, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southside Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Calob Strickland, who scored 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Strickland has scored at least 25% of Southside Christian's points. Landon Brady was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Southside Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
