Baseball Game Preview: Southeastern Local Trojans vs. London Red Raiders

The Southeastern Local Trojans will take on the London Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Southeastern Local is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Catholic Central with a sharp 9-3 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won nine in a row.

Kyle Adkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on one hit and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jake Alderson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Wade Shope, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Southeastern Local's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for London, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
