Claire Zeppelin looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Laurel got a massive performance out of Ivy Pancher, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Pancher a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hailey Fell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Laurel kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northgate only managed two hits.
Laurel is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games.
