The Notasulga Blue Devils and the Keith Bears squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Notasulga Blue Devils had to settle for second. The game between them and the Bears wasn't particularly close, with the Blue Devils falling 70-56. Notasulga's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Keith was led to victory by Miles Hannah and Tommy Tisdale III. Hannah scored 24 points, while Tisdale III scored 30 points. Tisdale III is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 24 or more in the last eight games he's played.
Notasulga's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Keith, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.
Notasulga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Keith, they will square off against Calhoun at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keith knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 21 contests -- so hopefully Calhoun likes a good challenge.
