After a dominant win in their contest two weeks ago, Lakeland were humbled last Friday. They and Deep Creek were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 26-27 defeat.
Meanwhile, Grassfield were able to grind out a solid victory over Western Branch, winning 21-7.
Grassfield's win lifted them to 2-4 while Lakeland's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Grassfield's success rolls on or if Lakeland are able to steal their positive momentum.
