It was a good run, but the Panther Creek Catamounts unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Green Level 61-57. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Panther Creek in their matchups with the Gators: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Catamounts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zy'vaun Puckett, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Hunter, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Green Level got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Ericksen out in front who scored 18 points. Ericksen is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last four games he's played. Tye Cain was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Panther Creek's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Green Level, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-0.

Apex will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Catamounts are ranked 47th). As for Green Level, they will head out on the road to face off against the Imps at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cary is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
