Goose Creek hasn't had much luck against Wando recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Gators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Goose Creek has given up an average of 13.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wando, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Lucy Beckham by a score of 10-5 on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Warriors' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Paxton Hunt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Collins Conley was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Lily Gold was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Wando has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Goose Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
