Basketball Recap: Bremerton Piles Up the Points Against Franklin Pierce

Bremerton came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Franklin Pierce Cardinals 66-34. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Franklin Pierce still got an impressive performance from Javon Barbee, who posted 18 points and four steals. Barbee is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. DJ Valentine was another key player, putting up four points.

Bremerton's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Franklin Pierce, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 14-1 and their overall record down to 19-4.

As of now, neither Bremerton nor Franklin Pierce have any future games scheduled.
