Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Mount Juliet Christian Academy

Mount Juliet Christian Academy entered their tilt with Hunters Lane on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Hunters Lane Warriors. With that win, the Saints brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

In other pitching news, Cole Launsby looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

Back at the plate, Jonah Kleinmann and George Dayton did most of the damage at the plate: Kleinmann scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Dayton got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
