Sunray came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-37 W against the Amarillo Collegiate Academy Eagles. While the Bobcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Sunray's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Amarillo Collegiate Academy, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.
