The Westside Rams won the last time they faced the Pendleton Bulldogs, and things went their way on Monday too. Westside simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pendleton 69-21 on the road. With Westside ahead 37-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Westside can attribute much of their success to Ahrianna Scott, who scored 21 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. Scott is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Asia Clinkscales, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
Westside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pendleton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Westside will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Powdersville at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Powdersville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday. As for Pendleton, they will head out on the road to face off against Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
