The Caro Tigers lost to the Ubly Bearcats back in March, but the Caro Tigers didn't allow the Ubly Bearcats the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Caro skirted past Ubly 48-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Caro.
Caro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evan Langmaid led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 4 blocks and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Langmaid has scored at least 25% of Caro's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor McGarry, who scored 16 points.
Caro's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ubly, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Caro will look to defend their home court on Friday against Harbor Beach at 7:30 p.m. As for Ubly, they will head out on the road to face off against Unionville-Sebewaing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
