The CHSA HomeSchool Wolverines will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the True North Knights at 3:40 p.m. on January 26th. True North took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on CHSA HomeSchool, who comes in off a win.
Even though Houston HomeSchool scored an imposing 59 points two weeks ago, CHSA HomeSchool still came out on top. CHSA HomeSchool managed a 63-59 victory over Houston HomeSchool.
After soaring to a 25-point victory in their last game, True North came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy by a score of 51-48. True North's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jaxson Moss, who scored 18 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Parks, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and eight steals.
True North struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
CHSA HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for True North, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.
