Bishop LeBlond were the first on the board but had to settle for second in the end in their match against Benton on Friday. Bishop LeBlond found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-39 punch to the gut against Benton. If Bishop LeBlond were expecting to get some payback for the 13-42 defeat against Benton the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
Bishop LeBlond are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4. The win bumped Benton's record up to 1-3.
Bishop LeBlond will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Lafayette. Benton will stay at home against Savannah at 7:00 PM. Savannah also lit up the scoreboard in their last matchup, so this could be a high-scoring matchup.
