Southeast Halifax is 2-8 against KIPP P since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Southeast Halifax put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northwest Halifax 67-29 on the road. The result was nothing new for Southeast Halifax, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Trayvese Silver was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rodney Johnson, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, KIPP P had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 58-49 victory over Weldon.
Southeast Halifax has yet to lose a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for KIPP P, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Southeast Halifax came up short against KIPP P in their previous matchup back in January, falling 83-75. Can Southeast Halifax avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
