North Sanpete is a perfect 4-0 against Juan Diego Catholic since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. North Sanpete can attribute much of their success to Sai Lolesio, who had 36 assists, and Cole Booher, who had nine digs, five kills, two aces, and one block. Booher has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times he's played.
Meanwhile, Juan Diego Catholic came up short against North Sanpete last Thursday, falling 3-0. The Soaring Eagle have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.
North Sanpete's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
Everything went North Sanpete's way against Juan Diego Catholic when the teams last played last Thursday, as North Sanpete made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
