Bishop O'Connell has gone a perfect 7-0 against The Heights recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Noah Haught made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other pitching news, Bishop O'Connell got a great performance from Shota Fogus as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts Fogus has posted since back in March.
Back at the plate, Truman Leckey was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, The Heights lost 10-1 to St. Mary's Ryken on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat The Heights has suffered against St. Mary's Ryken since March 27, 2019.
The Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Lepre, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Bishop O'Connell pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.67 runs across that stretch. As for The Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
The Heights' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop O'Connell has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. It's a different story for The Heights, though, as they've only averaged .311. Will they be able to contain Bishop O'Connell's hitters?
Bishop O'Connell came out on top in a nail-biter against The Heights when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 7-6.
