The West Point Warriors and the Boaz Pirates will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with West Point sitting on six straight wins and Boaz on four.
West Point has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 25 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 70-40 win over Fort Payne on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-19.
Even though Boaz has not done well against Pell City recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Boaz came out on top against Pell City by a score of 50-37.
West Point is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Boaz, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
