Leading All Saints' Academy to victory were Jaelen Randall and Claudarius Bell. Randall scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds, while Bell scored 19 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Bell has scored at least 25% of All Saints' Academy's points. Ali Ebrahim was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
All Saints' Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Vanguard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
All Saints' Academy will head out on the road to face off against Frostproof at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frostproof knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully All Saints' Academy likes a good challenge. As for Vanguard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roosevelt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
