Rosehill Christian entered their tilt with West Houston HomeSchool on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the West Houston HomeSchool Thunder. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Josiah Starnes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Rosehill Christian got a big performance out of Weston Hurst, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Hurst a new career-high in RBI (two). Leo Berain was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Rosehill Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Rosehill Christian back to even at 4-4-1. As for West Houston HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Rosehill Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Francis Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for West Houston HomeSchool, they will head out to face off against Westbury Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Westbury Christian has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
