Aletheia Christian Academy entered their tilt with Laurel Hill on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Hoboes with a sharp 27-4 victory. Considering the Lions have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Noah Wheeler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run.

In other batting news, Tanner Brock was a standout: he scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Brady Carlson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.

Aletheia Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laurel Hill only managed five hits.

Aletheia Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Laurel Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Aletheia Christian Academy will head out to take on Snook Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Laurel Hill, they will host Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
