The School of the Ozarks Patriots waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 49-42 victory over Cabool.
School of the Ozarks was led to victory by Lily Todd and Holland Houston. Todd dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Houston dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Houston is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Martin, who scored two points along with three steals.
School of the Ozarks has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Cabool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
School of the Ozarks will be playing in front of their home fans against Bradleyville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cabool, they will head out on the road to face off against Koshkonong at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Koshkonong is ranked 501st, while Cabool is ranked 489th).
