Chattanooga Christian is 2-8 against Baylor since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Chattanooga Christian Chargers will head out on the road to challenge the Baylor Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Chattanooga Christian will be strutting in after a win while Baylor will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Cleveland scored an imposing 59 points on Tuesday, Chattanooga Christian still came out on top. Chattanooga Christian walked away with a 69-59 win over Cleveland. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chattanooga Christian.
Kamora Moore and Aubriyana Camp were among the main playmakers for Chattanooga Christian as the former scored 24 points and the latter scored 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Camp has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydah Rainey, who scored four points along with 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Baylor's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 43-20 defeat at the hands of Webb. While losing is never fun, Baylor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while Webb is ranked 21st).
Chattanooga Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Baylor, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Chattanooga Christian beat Baylor 65-54 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chattanooga Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
