Morris' longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Groves-Watson, who threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.8% of her passes.
Richwoods didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaydah Green, Morris, and Aubri Moore picked up one apiece. That's the most rushing yards Morris has posted since back in September.
Richwoods was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 162 rushing yards in 11 consecutive matches.
Richwoods' victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Joliet Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.
Richwoods will venture away from home to square off against Kankakee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kankakee will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Richwoods surely won't give up without a fight. Joliet Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
