The Pikesville Panthers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Lewis by a score of 62-52. Pikesville's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Pikesville's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lewis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Pikesville will be home for the holidays to greet Century at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Century's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Lewis will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Benjamin Franklin on December 21st. Benjamin Franklin will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
