Sylmar entered their tilt with Kennedy with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Sylmar enjoyed a cozy 66-48 victory over Kennedy on Friday.
It was another big night for Gustavo Lopez, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 1 assists. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Sidon, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Westlake beat Oak Park 65-59 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westlake.
Sylmar's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Westlake, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
