Friends' Central is a perfect 5-0 against Abington Friends since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Friends' Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Abington Friends at 4:15 p.m. The contest will give Friends' Central their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Friends' Central managed to slip by Perkiomen School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Friends' Central came up short against Perkiomen School on Wednesday, falling 14-4. It was the first time this season that Friends' Central let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, Abington Friends had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Spartans 18-7. The result was nothing new for Abington Friends, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jason Holloway was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Holloway was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Jarius Ford was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jackson McWilliams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Abington Friends was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Abington Friends' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Friends' Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Everything went Friends' Central's way against Abington Friends when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Friends' Central made off with a 16-0 victory. Will Friends' Central repeat their success, or does Abington Friends has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
