La Habra (Calif.) 30-27 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Sean Sparling touchdown pass to
Luke Gomez, the Highlanders went into halftime with a 13-10 lead. The Knights scored the winning points with a touchdown pass by
Jack Gilchrist to
Julian Moss that came in the third quarter.
The loss snapped La Habra's 7-game winning streak.
Gilchrist stood out for Foothill in the win. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
Sparling made a difference for LH. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
The loss comes after La Habra defeated Los Alamitos 10-7 last week.
