East Coweta's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Simmons, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Simmons continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carby Martin, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
East Coweta's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Newnan, they have yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 3-2 record.

As for Newnan, they will head out on the road to face off against East Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
