Preston and Burley are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Preston Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Burley Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Preston's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ellie Nelson, who scored eight points along with three steals, and Maycie Knapp who scored two points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Burley suffered their biggest loss since December 11, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 54-29 defeat at the hands of Jerome. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Burley in their matchups with Jerome: they've now lost four in a row.
Preston's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Burley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Preston didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Burley when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-38 win. Does Preston have another victory up their sleeve, or will Burley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
