HomeSchool Resource Center has been on the road for ten straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Westlake Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. On Thursday, HomeSchool Resource Center earned a 68-56 win over Families of Faith Christian Academy.
HomeSchool Resource Center got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Baldridge out in front who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baldridge has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Fredrick Jefferson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Westlake Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success two weeks ago. They managed a 65-60 victory over Schaumburg Christian. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westlake Christian Academy.
David Magnuson and Asa Anderson were among the main playmakers for Westlake Christian Academy as the former scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals and the latter scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Caleb Nieze was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists.
HomeSchool Resource Center has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Westlake Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: HomeSchool Resource Center hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 59.6 points per game. It's a different story for Westlake Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 43.1 points per game. The only thing between HomeSchool Resource Center and another offensive beatdown is Westlake Christian Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
