While losing is never fun, Oswayo Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Otto-Eldred is ranked 48th).
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Oswayo Valley struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Oswayo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Otto-Eldred, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oswayo Valley will take on Coudersport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Otto-Eldred, they will head out on the road to face off against Cameron County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cameron County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Wednesday.
