Oakbrook Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brad Caldwell, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. Caldwell hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Zenai Davis, who scored 22 points along with three steals.
Wes Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Williamsburg Academy, scoring 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teague Ward, who scored 13 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Oakbrook Prep and nudges their season record down to 12-7. As for Williamsburg Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
Oakbrook Prep will be playing at home against Spartanburg Day at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spartanburg Day is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Williamsburg Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Florence Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Florence Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Williamsburg Academy is ranked 115th).
