Olive Branch (Miss.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 53-21 victory over Warren Central (Vicksburg, Miss.) on Saturday.
The Conquistadors were up 25-7 at the half after taking the lead on a
Samuel Craft touchdown pass to
Brandon Hall in the first quarter.
Olive Branch expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. OB scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Byrekus "Jap" Payne.
Vertis Shorter played well for the Vikings. The junior tight end ran for one touchdown.
The Conquistadors' most effective player was Craft. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns, ran for one touchdown and caught two touchdowns. He has now scored 23 touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Warren Central defeated Jim Hill 16-9 last week. The loss snapped Warren Central's 2-game winning streak.
