The Lewis-Palmer Rangers posted their biggest victory since December 1, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 75-51 margin over Cheyenne Mountain. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-20.
Lewis-Palmer got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cohen Edmondson out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nate Johnson, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Lewis-Palmer has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis-Palmer will take on Palmer Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Palmer Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Saturday. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will be playing at home against Air Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Air Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
