Cape Fear won the last time they faced Clinton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Colts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dark Horses. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Colts this season.

Cape Fear walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Clinton still got an impressive performance from Cameron Marshburn, who had 30 digs and two assists. Marshburn has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played. Jenna Jackson was another key player, getting ten assists and seven digs.

Cape Fear has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Cape Fear wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Harnett Central on the 3rd. As for Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against James Kenan on the 3rd.
