The Branchville Yellow Jackets posted their closest win yet this season on Saturday. They skirted past Military Magnet Academy 50-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Branchville.
Branchville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcus Felder led the charge by scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Felder has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyran Glover, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Branchville's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Military Magnet Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
Branchville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Whale Branch at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Whale Branch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Saturday. As for Military Magnet Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Burke at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burke will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
