Maxwell Messa produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Clearwater Central Catholic to the win on Thursday. Messa was dialed in and scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Considering what he did the last time these two duked it out (he scored 22 points along with nine rebounds), Northside Christian should've known better. Messa is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Messa and Clearwater Central Catholic will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Admiral Farragut at 3:15 p.m. on January 27th. Clearwater Central Catholic has some work to do to even out the 1-6 series between these two since January of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
