Rancho Cucamonga is 8-2 against Los Osos since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will host the Grizzlies  at 4:45  p.m. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Rancho Cucamonga sitting on  three straight  victories and Los Osos on seven.
Rancho Cucamonga proved they can win big  on Thursday (they won by three) and  on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Upland, sneaking past  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Cougars have posted  against the Highlanders/Scots since October 7, 2021.
Meanwhile, Los Osos was able to grind out a solid  victory over Chino Hills on Tuesday, taking the game  3-1.
 The  win didn't come easy: Chino Hills scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-28, 25-23,  25-21.
 Los Osos' win came from a few key players Rancho Cucamonga will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Chloe Taylor, who  had 15  digs, ten  kills,  and three  blocks. What's more,  she racked up 18  assists, the most she's  had since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Josslyn Jacks, who  had 22  kills, nine  digs,  and two  aces.
 Rancho Cucamonga's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Los Osos, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.
 Rancho Cucamonga suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Los Osos  when the teams last played  two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Jacks, who  had 12  kills, ten  aces,  and eight  digs. Now that the Cougars know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
