Make it 13 blowout wins for the Lake View Wild Gators this season. They blew past Green Sea Floyds 46-16 on the road on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Lake View sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
It was another big night for Gwendasia Page, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleya Ford, who scored eight points along with five steals and five blocks.
Green Sea Floyds' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paris McClellan, who scored six points.
Lake View's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Green Sea Floyds, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake View will take on the Silver Foxes at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Green Sea Floyds, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Carolina (Hannah-Pamplico is ranked 250th, while the Trojans are ranked 229th).
