Collierville entered their tilt with St. George on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 58-19 stomp they got against the St. George's Gryphons. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Collierville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ainslee Walk, who posted six points along with six boards and four blocks. Jekhyra Rodgers was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Collierville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Collierville pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for St. George's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Collierville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-25 victory against Center Hill on the 27th. As for St. George's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-36 defeat against St. Benedict at Auburndale on the 27th.
