Liberty is 5-0 against Hazen since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Liberty Patriots will be playing at home against the Hazen Highlanders at 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Liberty was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 24-20 to Mercer Island.
Jaxson Thoresen put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Hazen, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Interlake 40-6 on the road.
With Liberty's defeat and Hazen's victory, both teams now sport identical 3-4 records.
Liberty strolled past Hazen when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a score of 30-14. Does Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hazen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
